About the Role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of school settings and year groups, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. This role offers great flexibility, allowing you to choose when and where you work, while gaining valuable experience in different school environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Managing the classroom effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task
- Adapting to different schools, classes, and teaching styles
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Providing feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in primary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- Reliable, professional, and confident in new environments
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
