As a Service Delivery Manager at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of waste and recycling collection services, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery in line with contract requirements. You will lead operational teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure all objectives and KPIs are met. This vacancy is for a full‑time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Managing the day‑to‑day operation of waste and recycling collection services
- Leading and supporting operational teams, ensuring high performance and compliance
- Managing staff, vehicles, and equipment efficiently and in line with legal requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for the client
- Monitoring performance data and identifying improvements to service delivery
- Supporting the implementation of new processes, initiatives, and service changes
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Supporting recruitment, training, and employee welfare activities
- Working closely with senior management to identify risks and improve service delivery
What are we looking for?
- Experience managing operational contracts and leading teams
- Strong understanding of waste, recycling, or environmental services
- Proven ability to meet KPI targets and manage service performance
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with operational or fleet management systems is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- A proactive, motivated approach with strong leadership skills
