Head of Mathematics

Location: Essex

Contract: Permanent

We are working in partnership with a large, well-established secondary school with a thriving sixth form in Essex to recruit an ambitious and inspiring Head of Mathematics on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher or current middle leader ready to step up, within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment offering clear progression.

The Role

As Head of Mathematics, you will:

  • Deliver a broad, engaging, and ambitious curriculum

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong track record of raising attainment in Maths
