We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Braintree, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a hands-on role that involves:
- Assembling components using hand tools
- Interpreting technical drawings
- Carrying out packing duties

Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of components using hand tools
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings
- Operating light machinery (training provided)
- Performing quality checks to maintain high standards
- Packing of finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Meeting daily and weekly production targets
- Following written and verbal instructions accurately
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable standing for the duration of your shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Capable of repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Immediately available or available to start at short notice
- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle (this is essential)
