Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)

Salary: 16.48 - 18.47 per hour

Contract Type: Agency

Location: Various - Southend University Hospital, Broomfield Hospital, Basildon Hospital

Shift Patterns: Available Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, including:

  • Orthopaedics & Trauma
  • Head & Neck
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • General Surgery
  • Urology
  • Vascular

Essential

  • HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
  • Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
  • Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

  • Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
  • Mentoring or teaching qualification
