As a Deputy Store Manager at Aldi, you'll take pride in driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, minimising costs, and improving operational efficiency. You'll support the Store Manager by training colleagues, checking displays, and achieving sales targets. This role offers real responsibility and is the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders on their journey towards a store management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
- Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
- Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
- Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
- Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
- Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
- Skilled in time management and cost control
- Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently
- Strong customer service and compliance skills
- Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential

- A flexible working contract between 25-35 hours a week
