Fawkes & Reece is recruiting for a tier one contractor who are market leaders in the education new build industry. They have been in the industry for a long time and are a certified main contractor who are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager to work for 12 months minimum on their latest venture in Essex. Starting ASAP. The project is well underway and runs until September 2027, its worth 70m in total and the scope includes demolishing existing school blocks and rebuilding the new ones in a live environment.
As a Logistics Manager you will need to:
- Manage all site logistics across multiple phases
- Oversee subcontractor interfaces to maintain programme flow
- Ensure strict site access, security and compliance procedures are followed
- Manage vehicle movements and site access to ensure safety and efficiency
- Work closely with the Site Management team to plan ahead and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, waste removal, and on-site stock
- Enforce site rules and health & safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate will have circa 5 years experience as a Logistics Manager working with a main contractor, they must live within a 45 Minute drive to Essex and have worked on a project for the DFe.
