Overview: Contract opportunity for a Qualification Test Engineer focused on environmental testing. You'll be responsible for setting up and running vibration test campaigns for electro-mechanical products, producing test data/report outputs, and supporting additional test operations after in-house training.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and running of vibration test for electro-mechanical products including functional, endurance and reliability growth campaigns
- Ensuring safe operation of vibration shakers within the facility
- Liaising with test engineers and planners to facilitate setup and planning
- Provision of test data and report outputs
- Additionally, following in-house training, support operation of and test execution utilising ejection firing rig & drop pit
Skillset / Experience Required:
- Experience working with Aerospace/Military/Defence Standards for executing test campaigns
- Strong understanding of environmental testing methodologies
- Competence in data provision and report writing
- Ability to ensure safe operation of testing equipment
- Strong communication skills for liaising with engineers and planners
- Experience with Qualification Test Procedure writing and support
