A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:
As a Junior Laboratory Technician, you’ll support a safe and efficient lab by carrying out testing, performing calibrations, and ensuring compliance with GLP standards. You’ll maintain accurate records, assist with SOP updates, and work closely with your team on testing, equipment, and supplies, while also sharing results with clients. Your role is key to upholding quality, safety, and reliable laboratory operations as you build your technical skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the laboratories are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Order consumable items and chemicals for use in study experiments.
- Assist in the purchase of new laboratory equipment.
- Conduct and assist other team members with testing in the laboratories.
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong work ethic
- Methodical approach to tasks with good dexterity
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on your own and within a team
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
