Opening Hours:
- Monday and Wednesday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Friday and Saturday: 9:00am to 1:00pm
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team. This role offers valuable hands-on experience within a busy dental practice while working towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification. No previous dental experience is required. Full training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided throughout your development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clinicians during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable during appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical notes
- Following infection control and cross-contamination procedures
- Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organised, and prepared for use
Candidate Requirements:
- Enrolled on, or planning to enrol on, a GDC-accredited Dental Nursing course
- Friendly, professional, and reliable
- Organised with good attention to detail
- A confident communicator with strong teamwork skills
- Calm and able to work efficiently within a busy practice environment
- Passionate about patient care and building a career in dentistry
