TSS is recruiting Elite Retail Security Officers for Western‑Super‑Mare to work with one of the largest global retail companies. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will contribute to the safety and security of clients, colleagues, customers and assets. TSS is an ACS accredited security company with a focus on career progression.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and have a minimum of three years’ security or relevant experience.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible uniformed deterrent, contributing to clients’ safety and security.
- Carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure safety of staff and visitors.
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site.
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
- Complete all duties assigned by the client or manager.
- Maintain up‑to‑date site knowledge and identify local developments.
- Implement fire and safety evacuation procedures.
- Assist with staff and contractor searches, if required.
- Maintain the security base in a clean and tidy condition.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to you and the company, wearing full uniform and displaying your SIA licence.
