Overview

Are you an experienced Test Engineer looking for a new challenge within electronics manufacturing? Do you enjoy fault-finding, problem solving and getting hands-on with electronic products? If so, this Test Engineer opportunity could be exactly what you are looking for.

The Test Engineer role includes:

  • Testing PCBAs, assemblies and finished electronic products
  • Diagnosing faults down to component level
  • Operating and maintaining test equipment and functional test systems
  • Recording and analysing test data accurately
  • Supporting troubleshooting activities across production
  • Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings and technical documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement and NPI activities
  • Maintaining high standards within the test area

What they are looking for in a Test Engineer:

  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer within electronics manufacturing or an EMS environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
  • Ability to interpret schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as ICT, JTAG or functional testing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and quality-focused approach
