Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading Housing Association to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their reactive maintenance team across North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a well-paid, long-term role with excellent benefits and consistent local work.
The Role
You will be carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs within occupied domestic and social housing properties. The role requires strong fault-finding skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in tenants' homes.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems
- Testing & inspection, including EICRs
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works
- Working within occupied properties and liaising with tenants
- Using a PDA to manage and complete jobs
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Experience in electrical maintenance, testing, or domestic installations
- Background in social housing, housing associations, or council properties preferred
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications Required
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 32391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
