Facilities Electrician Harrogate & North Yorkshire
Up to 38,500 + 2,500 on-call + bonus + overtime
An excellent opportunity for a Facilities / Building Services Electrician to join a highly regarded employer offering a great working environment, strong team culture, and fantastic benefits. This is a varied, hands-on role working across a large commercial site in Harrogate as well as other local sites across North Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repair across:
- HVAC systems
- Emergency lighting
- Controls and general lighting systems
- Water hygiene systems
- Maintenance and testing of fire systems including alarms and sprinklers
- Supporting and leading mechanical and electrical project work
- Electrical installation tasks
- General building and site maintenance duties
- Providing out-of-hours cover on a rota basis
Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition
- Experience in facilities, commercial or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and organisational skills
- Experience within commercial, industrial or facilities environments
- Background in FM, construction or property maintenance
- Confident with PPM systems and job management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Good IT skills
