Temporary Electrician – York (YO41)
Location: York (YO41)
Duration: 2–3 weeks
Start Date: Tuesday, 26th May
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Rate: Negotiable (PAYE only)
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, including installation works such as power, lighting, and small upgrades.
- Fault-find and rectify across commercial systems.
- Perform minor remedial works following inspections and testing.
- Ensure that all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and site standards.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Strong electrical installation knowledge.
- Proven experience within commercial maintenance environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Key Details
- Start from Tuesday 26th May on a 2–3 week contract.
- Full-time hours (8:00am – 4:30pm).
- PAYE only (no CIS or self-employed payment options).
- Weekly pay via Hays payroll.
