Fantastic opportunity for a Technical Supervisor to join our client’s team based in London Bridge. This is an off-the-tools position where you will oversee all electrical projects, approve vendors and material suppliers, manage RAMS, permits, and MOs, while liaising with clients on ongoing and upcoming works. You will also conduct inspections before and after projects, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
Technical Supervisor Duties:
- Take full responsibility for the Permit to Work system across all infrastructure projects and contractors, ensuring permits are accurately reviewed, issued, managed, and closed in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Review and approve RAMS from contractors and internal teams, ensuring competency, valid insurance, and certified equipment before work begins.
- Carry out detailed site inspections before, during, and after project works to ensure compliance with approved RAMS and permit conditions, addressing any unsafe practices immediately.
- Work closely with Health & Safety and other departments to improve compliance and minimise project risks.
- Produce detailed reports on incidents, near misses, and non-compliance for Infrastructure Services Management.
- Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions on Permit to Work procedures, safe systems of work, and regulatory updates.
Technical Supervisor Requirements:
- Fully qualified in electrical installations or electrical engineering (City & Guilds, EAL, NVQ, or equivalent, including current wiring regulations).
- Within a commutable distance to London Bridge.
- Must have either high end residential or hotel work experience.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within maintenance, projects, or installation environments.
- IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable).
- Experience managing commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of RAMS, permits, and method statements.
Technical Supervisor Salary and Package:
- Up to £56,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
