Client: My client is a mechanical and electrical building services contractor specialising in high-end residential, commercial, laboratory and hospital projects across London and the home counties. Trading for over 20 years, our client is recognised as a market-leading MEP contractor. Projects can range from £2m - £10m+ MEP value. Development of good working relationships with their clients is key to our client’s success. As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. The majority of their client base comes through personal recommendation, referrals and repeat business and includes numerous Tier 1 Contractors.
Role/Responsibilities
- Management of subcontractor labour
- All health and safety
- Progress Reporting
- Review and amend RAMS
- Understanding of design & drawings
- Snagging
- Testing and commissioning
- Driving job Pre-construction
- Overseeing all installation and managing a large group
- Quality assurance
The ideal candidate
- Have a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
- Hold a current SSSTS / CSCS
- Must have experience running Electrical Projects over £1M
- Ideally have experience within the residential or commercial sector
- Strong communication skills
- A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
