Client: My client is a mechanical and electrical building services contractor specialising in high-end residential, commercial, laboratory and hospital projects across London and the home counties. Trading for over 20 years, our client is recognised as a market-leading MEP contractor. Projects can range from £2m - £10m+ MEP value. Development of good working relationships with their clients is key to our client’s success. As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. The majority of their client base comes through personal recommendation, referrals and repeat business and includes numerous Tier 1 Contractors.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • All health and safety
  • Progress Reporting
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Understanding of design & drawings
  • Snagging
  • Testing and commissioning
  • Driving job Pre-construction
  • Overseeing all installation and managing a large group
  • Quality assurance

The ideal candidate

  • Have a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
  • Hold a current SSSTS / CSCS
  • Must have experience running Electrical Projects over £1M
  • Ideally have experience within the residential or commercial sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
