Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a compressed working week that gives you more time to do what you love? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in Middlesbrough, offering a great salary and a shift pattern that gives you three days off every week.

The Role

  • As Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key part of the engineering team, responsible for keeping critical plant and equipment running at optimum performance.
  • You'll be working across both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding, playing a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects on site.
  • Working to health and safety standards and internal compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with the wider engineering and operations teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised electrical qualification - City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent.
  • Solid background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable).
  • A proactive, reliable engineer who takes pride in their work.

The Package

  • Salary: 42,000 - 50,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Friday to Monday, 10-hour shifts.
  • Shift options: 5:30am - 1:30pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm.
  • Compressed week - enjoy three days off every week.
