The role - what you will be doing

  • Delivering electrical infrastructure design from feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Producing calculations, reports and technical documentation.
  • Supporting design assurance, technical reviews and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Responding to site queries and supporting implementation phases.
  • Contributing to testing and commissioning activities from a design perspective.

Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical infrastructure design, ideally within ports, harbours or terminal infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of LV/HV power systems, utility networks and resilience strategies.
  • Ability to produce technical calculations and design documentation.
  • Experience using software such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work within project teams.
  • An Electrical Engineering degree and several years of relevant experience would be beneficial, though not essential.
