Kinetic are supporting a well-established and growing business based in St Helens with the recruitment of an Electrical Assembly Operative. Part of an established group specialising in equipment for telecoms networks, the company have built a strong reputation within their industry and continue to grow year on year. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and electrical assembly. The company are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Role
- Assembling electrical components, wiring, and sub-assemblies
- Reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely
- Carrying out basic testing and inspections on completed products
- Identifying and reporting faults or defects
- Completing production paperwork and records accurately
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures
- Working closely with the wider production team to meet targets
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
- Supporting with additional duties where required
Requirements
- Previous electrical assembly or manufacturing experience would be beneficial
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read technical drawings or wiring diagrams would be advantageous
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Details
- Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3:30pm / Friday: 7am to 12:30pm – Permanent job.
- Salary dependent on experience.
