Are you an ambitious Functional Safety professional ready to take ownership of safety-critical projects within a growing engineering consultancy? On offer is the chance to lead process safety initiatives, delivering risk assessments, safety reviews, and compliance support while working closely with project teams and clients. Mostly remote, with occasional visits to client sites or the office.

This independent consultancy helps clients in energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors manage risks, operate safely, and navigate complex projects. With a global team and strong career development opportunities, you'll have access to training, mentorship, and a clear path for progression.

In this role, you'll carry out safety assessments, develop procedures, support hazard identification, and ensure projects run safely, while guiding teams and promoting a strong safety culture. This position is ideal for a detail-driven Process Safety professional ideally with experience in energy, oil & gas, or industrial environments who enjoys delivering practical safety solutions while benefiting from a highly flexible working arrangement.

  • Process Safety Engineer for a well-established engineering consultancy
  • Risk assessments, safety reviews, procedure development, and compliance support
  • Negotiable experience dependent + Progression + Training + Company Benefits
  • Mon - Fri 8 - 4 or 9 - 5 (flexible), mostly WFH with occasional client or office visits

The Person:

  • Proven experience in process safety or process engineering
  • Ideally with experience in energy, oil & gas, or industrial environments
  • FSA Level 4 Certification / Experience - Candidates without but can demonstrate strong functional safety experience also considered
