Platinum Travel Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Lingual Inbound Travel Quoting Executive to join a fabulous inbound destination travel company, hybrid working based in the Edinburgh area or remote working (UK only). The ideal candidate must have quoting experience for inbound travel into Scotland from a wholesale inbound travel company, with good energy. Ideally, someone that is looking for professional growth within the company. A second European language is ideal such as Italian, Spanish, German or French.
Our client offers a range of travel services to the UK and Ireland for individuals and groups with a great reputation in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Build professional relations via networking and calls, creating proactive opportunities to be considered for groups travelling throughout Scotland.
- Build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with clients, suppliers and fellow team members.
- Acknowledge and qualify all new requests from new leads and existing clients.
- Ensure travel quotes are prepared accurately and promptly.
- Keep abreast of who our clients' competitors are, who they work with (both clients and suppliers) and what they are offering.
- Ensure that your product knowledge is kept up to date at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Fluency in English and a second European language (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is essential, and a third language would be advantageous.
- Experience within an inbound operator in a groups role.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination.
- Enjoy the buzzing energy of the travel industry.
