A Good Secondary School based in Redbridge is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Economics Teacher to start ASAP.
This Community school located in the borough of Redbridge is looking to recruit an Economics Teacher to join their team ASAP. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic. This larger than average school is very supportive of its staff and is always trying to improve their expertise. Having been graded Good in its last Ofsted inspection, it was noted that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil." The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 5 minute walk from the school.
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Economics Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Economics only to KS4 – KS5. The candidate will work alongside a large and supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced and Newly Qualified (ECT) Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post. The role is to start ASAP and will be for the remainder of the academic year.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Economics
- Experience teaching Economics KS4 and KS5
