We're working alongside a well-respected Tier Two main contractor based in Hampshire that continues to grow steadily across the south coast. With a strong pipeline of work from Southampton through to West Sussex, they're now looking to bring an experienced Site Manager into the team to support delivery on a flagship £15 million new-build project. This is a great opportunity to join a contractor known for running organised sites, investing in its people, and offering clear, realistic career progression. The Role
As Site Manager, you'll take day-to-day responsibility for site operations on a high-profile new-build scheme. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you'll be focused predominantly on internal packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible on site, takes pride in quality finishes, and values good relationships with subcontractors and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors
- Maintain high health & safety standards across site
- Monitor progress against programme and assist with short-term planning
- Ensure quality standards are met across all internal works
- Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and consultants
- Resolve site issues proactively and professionally
- Support and contribute to a positive, well-run site environment
