We are seeking a detail-oriented PCB Assembler / Wireman to join our client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards using various techniques and tools, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to accurately position and secure components
- Inspect assembled PCBs for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Follow detailed technical drawings and assembly instructions to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist in troubleshooting minor issues during assembly and report any major concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) and traditional assembly methods
- Electrical experience or background in electronics is highly desirable
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous
