A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join a modern and rapidly expanding FMCG manufacturing facility entering an exciting period of growth. The site is a newly developed, large-scale production facility processing high volumes of raw materials, with capacity set to increase significantly during its early operational years. This is a key leadership role within a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment.

As Production Manager, you will take ownership of daily production operations, ensuring performance across safety, quality, efficiency, and people management. You will play a vital role in building a strong operational culture and supporting the site as it scales. You will work closely with engineering, production leads, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, continuous improvement, and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets
  • Drive a strong health & safety, food safety, and quality culture across the site
  • Deliver the production plan by coordinating with production leads and supporting departments
  • Monitor performance and report on key KPIs across production areas
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Work closely with engineering teams to optimise equipment performance and reliability
  • Support and develop team capability through coaching, training, and leadership
  • Maintain high standards to ensure the site remains audit ready at all times
Candidate Requirements
  • Essential: Experience in a Production Management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Desirable: FMCG experience (preferred), Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume production environments
