Our client is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. They are able to create critical, rotating closed-die forgings for aerospace, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation and space applications. They are presently looking to recruit a Welder.
With continued support for training and a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted, our client is now looking to expand and develop their operations.
The Roles
- This role requires a Welder to help the production and maintenance teams in repairing and maintaining production equipment, forging presses, furnaces, machine tools and dies.
- Welding materials such as titanium, stainless, mild steel, Inconel, high carbon content steels, with the ability to fabricate as required.
- Must have a proven track record of fabricating works to a high standard and will be required to do a weld test in interview.
The Applicants
- Suitable applicants must be able to show strong experience in the above role, time served, apprenticeship qualified in their career.
- Ideally but not essential HNC qualification but must have copies of their trade papers and any other certifications.
- Applicants must be legally allowed to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
The role works over three shifts, early, back and night in rotation with a 37hr working week. Basic Salary 40K (including shift allowance) + OT, full company benefits.
