Velocity are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver for their road repair company operating throughout the Dumfries area. This role involves driving and manoeuvring a specialist patching machine to road repair sites across Dumfries. This is a straightforward driving role with no handballing involved and drivers will not be required to leave the cab during operations.
The Role
- Driving and manoeuvring the patching machine to various repair locations
- Working alongside the road repair team across Dumfries and surrounding areas
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times
- Monday to Friday working pattern with occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts available
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good awareness of road safety and transport regulations
- Reliable and punctual attitude
