The Opportunity
The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, working closely with partners while also supporting and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Corporation tax and personal tax computations
- Management accounts and VAT returns
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory services
Candidate Profile
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or strong QBE considered)
- Proven experience within UK accountancy practice
- Confident managing a client portfolio
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Experience with cloud‑based software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) advantageous
