Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team of Neighbourhood Coordinators and Enforcement Case Coordinators.
  • Manage complex and sensitive casework, including safeguarding concerns.
  • Build strong partnerships with external agencies such as the police, social care and health services.
  • Represent the organisation at multi‑agency meetings and deputise for senior management when required.
  • Drive service improvements through data analysis, feedback and process redesign.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Oversee operational performance and support service delivery, providing expert guidance on tenancy enforcement, anti‑social behaviour and safeguarding matters.
  • Contribute to service transformation, helping to implement new processes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within housing, neighbourhood management or a related field, alongside proven leadership capability.
  • Sound knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding.
  • Experience managing and developing staff, including performance management.
  • Strong partnership working skills with statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • The ability to manage complex workloads and competing priorities.
  • A proactive, customer‑focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Confidence using housing management systems and performance data.
  • A relevant housing qualification is desirable but not essential.
