Joining us at Dorking Manor, a luxury care home providing residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people, you'll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of our residents.

Our Housekeeping team ensures the supply of clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home, contributing to the provision of cleaning, laundry and domestic services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure the supply of clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home and support the provision of cleaning, laundry and domestic services.
  • Keep all areas of the care home clean, hygienic and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces and bathrooms.
  • Handle laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings.
  • Interact with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the manager.
  • Work closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations.

About You:

  • Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting
  • Flexible and reliable attitude
  • Committed to customer care and first-class service provision
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
  • Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast-paced environment
