Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards to this Permanent position. This is an exciting chance to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises, and taking on new members of staff over all departments. This is not a hand held terminal system, there is lots to learn in a busy environment with career progression available. 8hr day shifts with start times on Rota start times of 6:30am or 7:30am or 8:30am. Monday to Friday.

Duties to include:

  • The main duties of this position would be to keep the shop floor furnished with any consumable, PPE and kit requirements.
  • Maintaining the records required for this.
  • Vehicle movements in and out of the building so a driving licence is essential.
  • Fork lift truck counter balance licence for moving of kit.
  • Regular stores duties including administering Stock Control, reporting any shortfalls or faults on the same day, regular checking of stock levels, full stock taking procedures, product knowledge, administering and checking the stock control system on the software provided and liaising with all departments and systems in relation to this process.
  • Maintaining acceptable stock levels agreed with Finance department and using the requisition procedure.
  • Making available stock relating to field work.
  • Returning of field stock to suppliers as required.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and procedures.
  • Organising subcontract work required for products, arranging dispatch, and accepting returns making sure the relevant quality checks are observed.
  • Processing any returns or faulty goods, liaising with suppliers and our accounts department, making sure a replacement or credit is obtained.
  • Packaging goods to be sent out in a safe and secure manner, ensuring it contains the correct paperwork and labelling.
  • Maintaining and storing stock in a safe and correct manner, keeping to the designated stock areas, observing COSHH safety data for storage and use, and being clean and tidy at all times.
  • Observing recycling and waste disposal policies of the Company.
  • Month end process for stock valuation.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,976.00

Expected hours: 40 per week 8 hours between 6:30am and 5pm on a rota basis - eg 6.30am - 3.00pm, 7.30am - 4pm and 8.30 - 5pm
