Position Overview
TSS is looking for a Security Officer to work in a Distribution Centre in Doncaster. The role offers a dynamic environment and the chance to develop a career with the biggest name in security.
Requirements
- Valid SIA licence required.
- Age 18 or older.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Tech‑savvy; able to use digital devices and paperless administration.
- Team‑player with a professional attitude.
Your Time at Work
- Provide a visible, uniformed deterrent and contribute to the safety and security of the premises and staff.
- Carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure safety of staff and visitors.
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site.
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
- Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager.
- Maintain up‑to‑date site knowledge and identify local developments.
- Understand and implement fire and safety evacuation procedures.
- Assist, if required, with staff and contractor searches.
- Ensure the security base is clean and tidy at all times.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the company; wear full uniform and display SIA licence.
