Our client is recruiting for a Director of Finance for their global business based in London. The Finance Director will be a strategic leader, with full responsibility for the financial management of our client's European and international operations. This role will be hands-on and will oversee Accounting, Treasury, Credit Control, FP&A, Tax, Compliance, and commercial finance across multiple entities, manufacturing, sales and trading environments. The role operates as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). With strong commercial acumen and deep international experience, the successful candidate must be able to work in complex global structures. This role will require experience operating in a range of business sizes including both SME and corporate / Listed environments, with a proven experience of scaling finance functions during periods of significant organisational growth.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Significant senior finance leadership experience - ideally Director level
- International finance experience, including multi-entity management
- Strong commercial background and understanding, particularly gained from operational business environments
- Exposure to both privately held and larger corporate or listed companies
- Experience operating at the most senior level of leadership in an organisation
- Strong treasury, FX, cash flow and working capital expertise
- International travel with some short European trip and potentially one to USA per year
- Proven ability to demonstrate career stability
