This newly created Director / Partner Designate role balances relationship ownership, advisory work and business growth with audit as a gateway. You will grow the Business Advisory offering alongside a selective, high‑quality audit portfolio.
Responsibilities- Own a portfolio that blends audit and advisory, shifting toward higher‑value work
- Develop and deepen client relationships beyond year‑end engagements
- Drive business development, particularly across advisory services
- Hire, mentor and shape a team aligned to a more commercial service offering
- Collaborate with senior leadership on service line growth and positioning
- ACA or ACCA qualified (CTA / RI support available if required)
- Strong audit background with exposure to broader advisory or a clear desire to move in that direction
- Experience managing client relationships, ideally with some portfolio responsibility
- Background within a mid‑tier, independent or growth‑focused firm
- Commercial mindset, naturally looking beyond the audit file
- People‑focused leadership style
- Ambition to build a client base and shape a service offering
- UK qualified and right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- £85,000 - £105,000 base salary plus bonus
