About the Role
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Dewsbury to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a successful Science department and contribute to high standards of teaching and learning. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about inspiring pupils and raising attainment across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress in line with school policy
