TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding independent secondary school based in Long Eaton, who are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher for a long-term supply role. The successful Design Technology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Design Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. The successful Design Technology Teacher will join a welcoming department with excellent resources and ongoing support from Senior Leadership.
The successful Design Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Design Technology specialism
- Experience teaching Design Technology up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A creative and engaging teaching style
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable attitude
