Role Overview

  • Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
  • Support students in developing creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
  • Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching DT at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
