This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business delivering high-end residential and façade projects, with genuine progression opportunities up to Director level.

This established construction group operates across several specialist divisions including traditional masonry, façades, cladding, manufacturing, and luxury residential developments. With continued growth and a strong reputation across the Midlands, the business is expanding its commercial team to support an increasing pipeline of high-value projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commercial management across multiple construction projects
  • Manage valuations, CVRs, subcontract administration, and procurement
  • Ensure contracts, notices, and payment applications are correctly managed
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
  • Work from both Derby office and site locations in Derby and Birmingham
The Person:
  • Strong Quantity Surveying experience within construction
  • Experience managing cashflow, valuations, and procurement
  • Happy to lead and mentor junior staff
  • Commercially aware with strong client-facing skills
  • Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Positive, driven, and solution-focused mindset
  • Commutable distance from Derby
