What You Will Do:

  • Lead and oversee the integration and delivery of engineering across the entire vehicle, ensuring alignment with technical strategies and functional targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the delivery of embedded design quality, service, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage vehicle technical data progression, including CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test, and Releasing, working closely with team leads.
  • Resolve cross-group obstacles and promptly escalate technical blockers to ensure seamless programme delivery.
  • Support study and Agile spike activities to solve complex engineering challenges efficiently.
  • Act as the technical arbitrator, driving functional and attribute target delivery while addressing customer needs.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in automotive engineering with a deep understanding of vehicle systems and component design.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving abilities, using structured approaches like 8D or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A customer‑focused mindset and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that align with industry trends.

Location: This role is based in Gaydon, with potential travel to other sites as required. This role is Inside IR35.
