Role Overview
An opportunity for a SENDCo at a special educational needs school in Croydon has arisen. The vacancy is for a full time and permanent SENDCo starting in September. The school requires a qualified and experienced SENDCo to join the team to ensure the smooth running of the school.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and identify training needs for staff to best support students.
- Create EHCP plans for SEN students and maintain the SEND register.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, following school policies and the Code of Conduct.
- Develop and operate the SEN policy, coordinate the provision, maintain the SEND register and analyse pupil data.
Qualifications
- Qualified and experienced SENDCo with National Award SENDCo qualification.
- Strong safeguarding and safeguarding consciousness.
- Excellent communication, coordination and analytical skills.
