About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 9‑18 with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. You'll work closely with experienced staff, receive hands‑on training, and make a meaningful difference every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing
- Supporting students with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
