We are looking for an experienced and reliable Social Housing Plumber to join our growing maintenance team working across residential social housing properties. This role involves carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and plumbing installations while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults in occupied and void properties
- Carry out installations, maintenance, and replacement works
- Respond to emergency call-outs when required
- Complete work to a high standard in line with health & safety regulations
- Accurately record completed works using handheld devices or paperwork
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working in tenants' homes
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
