Location: Croydon

Shift: Double Days Monday - Friday (Early Finish Friday)

Company: Our client is looking for an experienced flexographic printer to join an innovative and well established team in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled flexographic printer to work for a company with many years in house experience, offering high quality packaging and labels solutions, and a company who heavily invests in the latest equipment.

Role:

  • Running multi-colour flexographic narrow web presses
  • Producing high quality labels and packaging with a variety of finishes
  • Maintaining flexographic printing presses while ensuring high standards of print quality and production efficiency
  • Mount printing plates and cylinders
  • Prepare and mix inks
  • Monitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration and consistency
  • Inspect printed materials and maintain quality standards
  • Troubleshoot printing or mechanical issues as well as routine checks, maintenance and cleaning

Requirements:

  • Hold sufficient, recent flexographic printing experience
  • Have experience operating a narrow web flexo printer ideally Mark Andy, MPS, Nilpeter, Edale etc.
  • Be aware of flexo print processes, substrates and inks
  • Previously or currently printed labels / packaging
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good mechanical troubleshooting ability
