We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Yard Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with materials handling, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining a safe and organised yard environment. The role is outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the movement and positioning of trailers within the yard.
- Clean containers, train carriages.
- Ensure the yard is maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition at all times.
- Loading/unloading/heavy lifting.
- Work in all weather conditions.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods.
- Previous experience working in a transport yard, warehouse, or logistics environment is a bonus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Working hours: 3 week rota
- 06:00-14:00
- 14:00-22:00
- 22:00-06:00
