We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Yard Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with materials handling, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining a safe and organised yard environment. The role is outdoors, in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the movement and positioning of trailers within the yard.
  • Clean containers, train carriages.
  • Ensure the yard is maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition at all times.
  • Loading/unloading/heavy lifting.
  • Work in all weather conditions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods.
  • Previous experience working in a transport yard, warehouse, or logistics environment is a bonus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Working hours: 3 week rota

  • 06:00-14:00 - 15.45
  • 14:00-22:00 - 15.45
  • 22:00-06:00 - 16.70
