Industry: Automation / Intralogistics

Rate: £400.00 p/d

Contract: 12 months

Shift: Monday to Friday (7:00am 5:00pm)

We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to support a large-scale automation installation project within a live logistics environment. This role will focus on overseeing all health, safety, and environmental activity on site, ensuring full compliance throughout the construction and installation phases. You will be working in a Principal Contractor (CDM) environment, managing multiple contractors and supporting the safe delivery of a complex project involving automation systems, racking, and high-risk installation work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all EHS activity across the project site
  • Ensure compliance within a CDM / Principal Contractor environment
  • Oversee high-risk works including lifting, working at height, and installation
  • Review and approve RAMS, lift plans, and method statements
  • Manage contractors and drive safe working practices on site
  • Support project teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery

Requirements

  • NEBOSH or equivalent (Level 6 / Construction Certificate)
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Strong experience working within CDM environments (essential)
  • Previous experience managing safety on construction or installation projects
  • Good IT and communication skills
