Stephen James Consulting is working with one of its established elderly care providers in the search for a Home Manager based in Cheshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to take full responsibility for a small nursing home, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care and strong regulatory compliance. Previous Home Manager experience is preferred, although strong Deputy Managers ready to step up will also be considered.
This role carries full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring high clinical standards, compliance, and team performance.
Responsibilities- Overall leadership and management of the nursing home
- Ensure safe, effective, person‑centred care delivery
- Provide strong clinical and operational leadership
- Maintain full CQC compliance and governance standards
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and service performance
- Drive quality improvement and continuous development
- Support and develop staff through supervision and mentoring
- Active UK NMC PIN preferred (RGN or RMN)
- Previous Home Manager experience within elderly care preferred
- Strong Deputy Managers ready to step up considered
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
- Experience within elderly or dementia care settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
