Your new company

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team, delivering high-quality grounds services across social housing estates in the Crewe area. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining green spaces, communal areas, and residential environments to a clean, safe, and visually appealing standard for tenants and the wider community.

Your new role

  • Carry out a full range of grounds maintenance duties across residential estates, including:
    • Grass cutting and lawn care
    • Hedge trimming and pruning
    • Strimming and edging
    • Weed control and spraying (where qualified)
    • Leaf clearance and seasonal work
  • Maintain communal outdoor areas to a consistently high standard
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with scheduled maintenance plans
  • Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely

Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
  • Good knowledge of plants, seasonal work, and outdoor maintenance practices
  • Full UK driving licence
  • PA1 / PA6 Licence
